AICE Media Studies

 I have finally filmed my opening scene. On Wednesday March 24th I filmed my opening sequence. I filmed my scenes at my friends house. I also filmed some of my scenes at the mall. It took about 3 hours to film everything. We first started off filming all of the indoors scenes. Then we filmed the scenes that took place outside of the home. Filming these scenes took about 2 hours. Then, we headed over to coral square mall. There we filmed about 5 different scenes. This took about 1 hour in total. After that, we headed back to my friends house to re film a few scenes that needed touch ups. We re filmed about 2 scenes. These scenes needed to be re filmed sue to lighting problems. Also due to dialogue problems. Then we spent some time talking and eating. Once I got home  I transferred the footage to my computer. I have not began editing yet. I will begin editing tomorrow. I have to download to software to edit since I will not be using my Mac book for this. Everything is going smoo...

 For my final task,I have finished the finalization process. I have called the stores that I am planning to film at to let them know that we will be coming in to film soon. I have confirmed all of my actresses for my opening sequence. I am still working on getting copyright rights for the music that i would like to use for my opening sequence. My parents have confirmed that they will be able to provide transportation for my actresses and I. We will begin shooting on the 24th of March. We should complete shooting on the same day as well. All of my actresses have confirmed that they will be present. I have completed my storyboard. I have also completed my script. Along with my shooting script. I have all the equipment ready for filming this opening sequence. I also have all of my editing gear ready to edit my opening sequence. Deciding on who my actresses should be was a hard process but I was able to complete it. I have confirmed most of my locations and they are expecting me soon....

    I have spoken to all of my actors about the schedule. We have al been able to set a date for our shoot. We have decided to start the recording process next week Tuesday. This day is honestly perfect. Its during spring break so we wont have to wait for school to be over or anything. Also, the weather is going to be perfect due to the time of year. To add to that, since its spring break we wont have to worry about completing assignments before we start shooting. Once I get to the location, I will begin shooting immediately. I have printed out the script. I have also printed out the shooting script. I have also put together the costumes for each scene. I have about 3 costume changes. I have packed them and when the shooting day arrives i will put them all in my bag and head to the location. I have also confirmed rides. My mother will be the one driving us around.    For my project. I decided to work along. But, I am incorporating a lot of people into my project. Due to that fact, I cannot begin filming just yet. I had planned to begin filming last weekend. But, one of m actors already had plans which jammed up my schedule. She is supposed to be the main actor so this definitely caused problems. I have already made a solution to this problem. The only problem to my solution is that i cannot start filming until spring break. I hate waiting last minute to do projects. But, it is just what i will have to do. Since i cannot start filming until spring break, i have decided to start getting other things ready in the mean time. I am going begin planning out exactly how i will film everything so that when i get to the locations, everything is a breeze. Editing my project shouldn't be a problem due to the fact that i have all my gear at home. Editing is a joyous process for me so it actually wont be a bother. I am so ready to begin the filming p...

         For my final task, I have not started the filming or editing process yet. I have decided that i'm going to have to cut out a few parts within each scene because i have to ensure that the video will be 2 minutes. I have been able to get everything in order though.  I am beginning the finalization process now. I have called the coffee shop that I am planning to film at to let them know that we will be coming in to film soon. I have confirmed a few of my actresses for my opening sequence. Speaking with my teacher has cleared up a few of my confusions. I am beginning the finalization process now.   STORYBOARD Drawing these scenes took a lot of time, but it will be worth it during the filming process due to the fact that I will know what to do without confusion. The storyboard photos are out of order but, the scene number is at the top of each page. I have drawn out scenes 1-10. I described the camera angles, movements, and editing that will be used. I am honestly not a great artist but,  I will be able to understand what is going on easily when looking at them. Making these storyboards was a cool process and it was worthy.
