Intro Blog

 Hi, my name is Jheanelle Shand. I am in the tenth grade. I am an intelligent, caring, and dependable person. I am 15 years old. I will be turning 16 on January 16. I have two siblings, a little brother (10) and a big brother (20). I am from Jamaica but i moved to the US when i was 9. I play 2 sports, track and lacrosse, but i'm focusing on lacrosse more than track now. I don't have any pets sadly, but i may be getting one soon. I don't really have much passions in life but to be successful and to become a doctor by working hard and achieving my goals. I spend most of my time watching movies, doing homework, studying, or playing games with friends. I love to go shopping, hang out with my friends, go to the beach, and sleeping. I go to Fort Lauderdale High School because it has the Cambridge program which is an amazing program. Almost all of my family members have taken Cambridge classes at some point in their life so, they really encouraged me to do Cambridge during high school.  I am taking this class because it seemed interesting to me. When i was speaking to my counselor about my classes last year, he mentioned AICE media studies and the components of the class and i just knew that i had to take it. I love watching movies and tv shows, so to be in a class where we will be analyzing these films and breaking it down is amazing. At the end of this class, i will be able to watch films and identify the different types of film techniques being used and that is so cool to me. This class is definitely one of the most interesting classes i am taking this year. I can not wait to learn more.

 For my final task,I have finished the finalization process. I have called the stores that I am planning to film at to let them know that we will be coming in to film soon. I have confirmed all of my actresses for my opening sequence. I am still working on getting copyright rights for the music that i would like to use for my opening sequence. My parents have confirmed that they will be able to provide transportation for my actresses and I. We will begin shooting on the 24th of March. We should complete shooting on the same day as well. All of my actresses have confirmed that they will be present. I have completed my storyboard. I have also completed my script. Along with my shooting script. I have all the equipment ready for filming this opening sequence. I also have all of my editing gear ready to edit my opening sequence. Deciding on who my actresses should be was a hard process but I was able to complete it. I have confirmed most of my locations and they are expecting me soon....

This movie was able to exquisitely use film production techniques to make it clear to the audience that these were the genres that the movie was produced within. In this film there are many close up angles to help capture the intensity of the actors feelings. in the film “A Star Is Born” many emotions are portrayed as anxiousness and hurt.
