Planning Storyboard for my Humidifier commercial

 First Scene-

In the first scene of my commercial, I will film my actor walking into her home. When she walks into her home, she will cover her nose due to the musty smell in her house. During this scene I will also make sure to allow the audience to see the air freshener plugged into the wall. This scene will be a long shot scene. I will also pan the camera so that it could be more dramatic and the air fresher can be shown. In this scene I will be using three point lighting.  This scene will be in black and white to add a dramatic effect to show unhappiness. There will also be a voice over narrating the scene.

Second Scene-

In the second scene of my commercial, I will film the actor trying to sleeping in her bed. The actor will be twisting and turning and unable to fall asleep due to her allergies bothering her.  This scene will be in black and white because of the actors unhappiness. I will use low key lighting because it will be in the dark since the actor will be trying to fall asleep. It will be a mid shot scene and the camera movement will be tilt. I will also voice over this scene.

Third Scene-

In the third scene of my commercial I will be filming the product, the humidifier. I will be doing a close up on the humidifier and i'll be using high key lighting to show all the features. This scene will be in full color to show a transition from a gloomy feel to a happy feeling in the ad. This scene will also be in shallow focus and there will be a voice over in this scene.

Fourth Scene-

In the fourth scene of my commercial, I will be filming the actor coming back inside of her home with a smile on her face because the humidifier is working and her home smells better. The humidifier will be in the shot so i will use long shot. I will also be doing the camera movement pan. I will use three point lighting in the scene since the actor will be by the door and i want the audience to have a clear view of the actors surroundings.

Fifth Scene-

In the fifth scene of my commercial, I will be splitting it into two. The first part will show the humidifier in high key lighting and it will be a close up shot with shallow focus. In this scene I will be describing the parts of the humidifier and all the settings, In the second part, I will use low key lighting to show the feature that the humidifier has which is a light on the inside that could be used during the night. This scene will also be a close up and i will use shallow focus. But, i will then zoom out the camera to show the actor using the night feature on the humidifier in their bed which will be the transition into the sixth scene.

Sixth Scene-

In the sixth scene of my commercial, it will be a smooth transition from the fifth scene. In the fifth scene, the camera will start to zoom out which will be the transition into the sixth scene and it will show the actor sleeping with the night mode (light) on inside the humidifier. That scene will be a mid shot and tilt. It will then switch to another close up shot of the humidifier with high key lighting and shallow focus. In this scene I will be doing a voice over listing the price of the humidifier while its in close up.
