Planning For my Music Video

 I will be doing a music video for the song Redbone by Childish Gambino.

Props
  • For this music video, i will be using multiple props. I will be using a car as prop. The car will be used in the scene where the actor is depressed and sitting in her car. I will also be using a phone as a prop. Then phone will display text messages between the actor and her partner. Another prop that will be used is a bottle. The bottle will be thrown in a scene.
Costumes

  • I am doing a music video to a r&b song. Since it's in the r&b genre, the costumes will be regular/ casual attire. My actor will be wearing jeans and a t-shirt in most scenes. The actor will also wear minimal jewelry, like earrings and a necklace. My actor will also be wearing regular tennis shoes (vans) as shoes during most scenes.
Schedule

  • On 11/12/2020, I wrote my intro blog for my music video.
  • On 11/14/2020,  I researched the conventions for my music videos genre.
  • On 11/15/2020, I will start planning for my music video.
  • On 11/17/2020, I will draw my storyboard for my music video.
  • On 11/22/2020, I will start filming my music video. 
  • On 11/ 23/2020, I write my filming blog.
  • On 11/24/2020, I will edit my music video and write my editing blog.
  • On 11/26/2020, I will do my CCR questions.
Location

  • I will be filming my music video in my community. I will be doing some scenes at the clubhouse in my complex. Other scenes will be shot inside of my house. Some scenes will be shot inside the car but the car will be parked outside of my house.
Backup Plan
  • I really only need a back plan for my actor since everything else is available at my house.My backup plan for if my actor isn't able to come will be to have my mom or brother be the actor instead.

 For my final task,I have finished the finalization process. I have called the stores that I am planning to film at to let them know that we will be coming in to film soon. I have confirmed all of my actresses for my opening sequence. I am still working on getting copyright rights for the music that i would like to use for my opening sequence. My parents have confirmed that they will be able to provide transportation for my actresses and I. We will begin shooting on the 24th of March. We should complete shooting on the same day as well. All of my actresses have confirmed that they will be present. I have completed my storyboard. I have also completed my script. Along with my shooting script. I have all the equipment ready for filming this opening sequence. I also have all of my editing gear ready to edit my opening sequence. Deciding on who my actresses should be was a hard process but I was able to complete it. I have confirmed most of my locations and they are expecting me soon....

This movie was able to exquisitely use film production techniques to make it clear to the audience that these were the genres that the movie was produced within. In this film there are many close up angles to help capture the intensity of the actors feelings. in the film “A Star Is Born” many emotions are portrayed as anxiousness and hurt.
