Planning Storyboard for my Music Video

I am doing a music video for the song redbone by Childish Gambino.

Scene 1: This scene will be 10 seconds long. The scene will first start with a zoom in of the actors posture and facial expression. This scene will then be a close up. Then the screen will go back and forth from the video to black (to match the beat of the song) until the beat drops. The actor will then start singing the lyrics once they start.

Scene 2: In this scene the actor will be in a bed. The actor will be singing the lyrics and it will be a mid shot and from an high angle. This scene will last 6 seconds. 

Scene 3: In this scene, it will be a close up of text messages on a phone. The text messages will show her partner lying to her and telling her that he didn't make it home because of work buts its a lie. It will be a close up of the phone and it will last for about 4 seconds.

Scene 4: In this scene the actor will be leaning against the wall with one foot on the wall. The acor will be facing away from the camera and she will be singing the lyrics. The scene will be a mid shot scene and it will be about 8 seconds. 

Scene 5: This scene will be a car driving past the camera. This scene will be in long shot and it will be about 6 seconds.

Scene 6: In the sixth scene, my actor will be in her car. She will be sulking and she will be singing the lyrics of the song, It will be in mid shot and it will last for about 6-7 seconds.

Scene 7: In this scene the actor will be singing towards the sun with her hand stretched out. This scene will be in mid shot and it will last for about 7 seconds.

Scene 8: In this scene, i will be doing a close up on the waves in the pool. It will match the song lyrics and i will also be zooming in on the ripples in the pool. This scene will only be about 2 seconds though.

Scene 9: In this scene, the actor will be singing against the wall again similarly to the fourth scene. This scene will be about 2 seconds.

Scene 10: In this scene, the actor will be singing in the car again, similarly to the sixth scene. The actor will still be sulking and it will be a mid shot scene.

Scene 11: In this scene, the actor will be singing by a tree. It will be a mid shot scene.

Scene 12: This scene will be a close up on the phone again. It will be showing the text messages between my actor and her partner.

 For my final task,I have finished the finalization process. I have called the stores that I am planning to film at to let them know that we will be coming in to film soon. I have confirmed all of my actresses for my opening sequence. I am still working on getting copyright rights for the music that i would like to use for my opening sequence. My parents have confirmed that they will be able to provide transportation for my actresses and I. We will begin shooting on the 24th of March. We should complete shooting on the same day as well. All of my actresses have confirmed that they will be present. I have completed my storyboard. I have also completed my script. Along with my shooting script. I have all the equipment ready for filming this opening sequence. I also have all of my editing gear ready to edit my opening sequence. Deciding on who my actresses should be was a hard process but I was able to complete it. I have confirmed most of my locations and they are expecting me soon....

This movie was able to exquisitely use film production techniques to make it clear to the audience that these were the genres that the movie was produced within. In this film there are many close up angles to help capture the intensity of the actors feelings. in the film “A Star Is Born” many emotions are portrayed as anxiousness and hurt.
