My Pitch


Pitch #1: A female athlete who is achieve many successes in life and is on the top of her game then finds out that she is pregnant.

Pitch #2: The daughter of a very wealthy man finding herself and leaving behind her boring life and going on adventured against her fathers will.

        I would be interested in making either film. I'm not much of a creative person so it was hard for me to come up with these topics. Once I finally came up with these pitches I started to envision myself producing them. For the first pitch I feel like it would be very interesting to produce. To have to pick out different costumes and props would be cool. Visiting different locations would be nice as well. The pitch is very interesting to me so filming it wouldn't even feel like a task assigned to me from school. Rather it would feel like I'm doing it for fun. I actually favor pitch number two more though. Pitch number two has a storyline that I feel like would be interesting all throughout the movie. I would keep the audience on the edge of their seat because the audience wouldn't know when her dad would pop up. Filming this pitch would actually be more fun as well. I would be able to visit different places while filming. I could also incorporate more of my friends into this movie. Plus I wouldn't have to worry about costumes and props as much. So, I have decided to go with pitch number two.

 For my final task,I have finished the finalization process. I have called the stores that I am planning to film at to let them know that we will be coming in to film soon. I have confirmed all of my actresses for my opening sequence. I am still working on getting copyright rights for the music that i would like to use for my opening sequence. My parents have confirmed that they will be able to provide transportation for my actresses and I. We will begin shooting on the 24th of March. We should complete shooting on the same day as well. All of my actresses have confirmed that they will be present. I have completed my storyboard. I have also completed my script. Along with my shooting script. I have all the equipment ready for filming this opening sequence. I also have all of my editing gear ready to edit my opening sequence. Deciding on who my actresses should be was a hard process but I was able to complete it. I have confirmed most of my locations and they are expecting me soon....

This movie was able to exquisitely use film production techniques to make it clear to the audience that these were the genres that the movie was produced within. In this film there are many close up angles to help capture the intensity of the actors feelings. in the film “A Star Is Born” many emotions are portrayed as anxiousness and hurt.
