music playing through all of the scenes: 'If i was a rich girl- Gwen Stefani'

Scene 1

Violet Thresher:"Bye dad have a nice trip"

Jonathan Thresher:"Bye sweetie, remember your limit for the month is $15000. We need to start saving."

Violet: "yeah whatever, love you" 

Scene 2

Marina Smith: "how come you didn't drive the Porche?

Violet: "He doesn't allow me to drive it when he's out of town which is all the time. He left for cali this morning and he's not coming back till next month"

Marine: "i honestly wish i were you, being able to stay home by yourself all the time must be nice."

Violet: "It honestly is, i love my life."

Scene 3

No dialogue

Scene 4

Store clerk: "Heyy violet, nice to see you again, i see you bright your black card again"

Violet: "I can never leave the house without it"

Store clerk: "uh i wish i could live the lavish life that you do"

Violet: awkward smile

Scene 5

Mall girl #1: "I wish i were her omg"

               Shooting Script

Scene 1

-Violet is walking outside of her home

-Her father is outside packing his suitcases into his car

-She has the small conversation with her father and then gets into the car and say bye i love you

-She drives off

-Diegetic sound: When violet is speaking to her father and the sound of the car driving off

-Dialogue: Her conversation with her father

-Non diegetic sound: The song "if i was a rich girl" playing low in the background

-Natural lighting, pan movement following the car while its driving off, establishing shot of the house, long shot of violet walking out of the house then medium shot while she in the car, two shot, 

Scene 2

-Violet pulls up to the coffee shop to meet up with Marina

-Diegetic sound: Violet conversating with Marina and speaking about her life. 

-When Marina says that she wishes she had Violets life, Violet looks down knowing that she hates her life, close up shot will be used to show this.

- Establishing shot to show the coffee shop, two shot, over the shoulder will be used while Marina is conversating with Violet, 

-Non diegetic sound: The song "If i was a rich girl" playing in the background

Scene 3

- Mid shot showing the two girls conversating while drinking coffee

- Non diegtic sound: The song "if i was a rich girl" playing in the background.

-Over the shoulder shot used to show different angles

Scene 4

- Violet pulls up to the mall. Pan camera angle used to show the car pulling up. 

- Diegetic sound used while Violet is conversating with the store clerk. Mid shot and two shot will be used during this scene then it will switch to over the shoulder shot while she is conversating with the mall clerk.

-Non diegetic sound used in the background with the song "if i was a rich girl".

- Establishing shot used to show the mall that Violet is pulling up to.

Scene 5

- non diegetic sound used with the song "if i was a rich girl"

- Long shot used to show Violet walking around the mall with her shopping bags with coffee

Scene 6

- Violet in stores trying on fancy jewelry and clothes

- mid shot used to show her trying on these things

-Non diegetic sound used with the song "if i was a rich girl" playing in the background.

- Tracking shot used to follow Violet around the mall

Scene 7

- Violet walking around the mall with shopping bags and fancy clothes

- Tracking shot used to follow violet around the mall

- Long shot used to follow her

- Non diegetic sound used with "if i was a rich girl"

Scene 8

- Pan shot used to shift the focus from Violet to the girls saying "i wish i were her".

- Pan shot used to switch back to Violet and showing her flipping her hair and smirking from the front

- Tracking shot used to follow Violet throughout the mall

- Diegetic sound used when the girls say something

- non diegetic sound used with "if i was a rich girl"

Scene 9

- Violet in the car blasting music and laughing while driving

- Mid shot used to show violet in the car from the front

- Diegetic sound used with the music that she is blasting

Scene 10

- violet get home and then dramatically drops her bags and starts to cry

- long shot used from the back to show her dropping her bags

- Switches to front angle/ mid shot and shows violet crying and the speaking

-Diegetic sound used to hear her saying the things that she says

-Non diegetic sound used playing sad, dramatic music

 For my final task,I have finished the finalization process. I have called the stores that I am planning to film at to let them know that we will be coming in to film soon. I have confirmed all of my actresses for my opening sequence. I am still working on getting copyright rights for the music that i would like to use for my opening sequence. My parents have confirmed that they will be able to provide transportation for my actresses and I. We will begin shooting on the 24th of March. We should complete shooting on the same day as well. All of my actresses have confirmed that they will be present. I have completed my storyboard. I have also completed my script. Along with my shooting script. I have all the equipment ready for filming this opening sequence. I also have all of my editing gear ready to edit my opening sequence. Deciding on who my actresses should be was a hard process but I was able to complete it. I have confirmed most of my locations and they are expecting me soon....

This movie is within the drama and romance genre. This movie was able to exquisitely use film production techniques to make it clear to the audience that these were the genres that the movie was produced within. In this film there are many close up angles to help capture the intensity of the actors feelings. in the film “A Star Is Born” many emotions are portrayed as anxiousness and hurt. The camera movement was to help capture the scene as if it was a real life experience for the audience. The camera moves throughout the setting to make the audience feel the inspiration and emotions of the atmosphere created in the scenes.
