Story Board
This was my and my group's storyboard. The storyboard was a visual representation of the script we wrote representing the shots for scenes. In each box, we would draw out what we envisioned the shot would look like. Then below the image, we would write the shot type and summarize what is happening in the shot. This was very helpful because we were able to put thoughts onto paper and put these visions into a materialistic form. This also helped put me and my group members on truly the same page. This was because now we could all see this idea we had come up with and how it looks. When it comes to creative projects it is difficult to get everyone's vision the same because everyone has creative differences. We didn't specifically depict the image of every scene but we got each part of the plot including camera movement and angles. This along with our script will be our reference when filming, a plan. This way we don't jump into filming blindly we have a plan and something that can guide us. The drawings for each scene are detailed but are to just give us the producers a vision. The story also helps us relate back to our script relating to what is visually happening during specific parts of the script. On the first page of our storyboard, it shows April waking up and beginning her day, it's Wednesday. The second page of our storyboard is April getting ready after just waking up. The third storyboard page is when the real plot starts, it shows April being reminded of her task for the day and rushing to complete it on time. The next page is the fourth and shows April rushing and running a stop sign leading her into a car accident. Page 5 of the storyboard then repeats the beginning of her waking up and it's Wednesday again. Page 6 is also similar however here April rushes to get to Publix but decides it is safer to stop at Publix. The seventh page then shows her getting to Publix but on the way back getting into a car accident. Page 9 of the storyboard April's day repeats the same, still be Wednesday until instead, she avoids the second crash. Next April wakes up in her room and it's the finally the next day. That is where our script and storyboard end
