Production Blog: Editing

 

Hello fellow viewers! My group and I have begun editing. All of the members within my group have some sort of Apple device. This allowed us to all use iMovie at ease. We all just logged into the same account and got to work. iMovie is such an amazing app so the editing process isn't very difficult. We first had to offload all the clips from our phones to our computers. One of my group members is using her iPad to edit though. We used airdrop to transfer the videos from our phones to the computer. Once we did that, we aligned all of the scenes into the order that they should be in. Aligning the scenes took some time because we had to cut some of the scenes. It also took some time to fit all of the scenes into the time frame we were given. After doing that, we edited the scenes. We changed the hues of some of the scenes. We also made some of the scenes very bright to add to the vision we were going for. Next, we added transitions. We used multiple transitions. Some of them were fast though so I'm not sure if they are noticeable. We still have a LOT of editing left to do. Overall we are on track.
