Production Blog: Finishing Touches

Hello fellow viewers! My group and I have edited our audio! We ran into a few problems tho. Firstly, in some of the shots, the real audio was too low. We brainstormed and wondered if we should do a voiceover for these scenes. We then decided to not do that and to just put the audio up to 100%. This slightly fixed the problem. Not perfect but it's a solution. We also ran into a problem with the song for the alarm. The editing software wanted us to purchase the song but we did not want to do that. We then decided to do a voiceover for the song on iMovie. This worked perfectly. We then re-watched the short film a million times lol. We wanted to ensure each scene was synced perfectly with the sound. We also added text for the opening sequence. This was a bit difficult because the text wouldn't align properly. This caused us to have to move everything over again. We also had to re-shoot a scene. We had to do this because the actor's hair changed and it didn't look as smooth as it was supposed to. We re-shot the scene then put it back into the short film. Other than that, everything is on track.
