Production Blog: Second Day of Filming

 



   Hello fellow viewers! Today my group and I began the second day of filming. For the second day, we decided to focus on a particular scene. We wanted to get the car crash scenes done. This scene is when April gets into a car accident because the cake falls. After this scene, her life will start to repeat over and over. When we were filming this scene, we ran into a few issues. Firstly, the weather began to act crazy! It became extremely windy. This caused the sound in the video to be a bit muffled. This was a serious problem because the dialogue in this scene was important. We then noticed that clouds were beginning to form. Then our ultimate nightmare came true. It started to rain! This caused us to have to go inside. Due to the fact that this scene was meant for outside, there wasn't much we could do. While inside we did a bit of brainstorming. We decided that it was best to re-shoot some scenes.l We re-shot a few scenes so we could get them to perfection. By the time it stopped raining it was dark outside. We decided to just re-film these scenes another day.

 For my final task,I have finished the finalization process. I have called the stores that I am planning to film at to let them know that we will be coming in to film soon. I have confirmed all of my actresses for my opening sequence. I am still working on getting copyright rights for the music that i would like to use for my opening sequence. My parents have confirmed that they will be able to provide transportation for my actresses and I. We will begin shooting on the 24th of March. We should complete shooting on the same day as well. All of my actresses have confirmed that they will be present. I have completed my storyboard. I have also completed my script. Along with my shooting script. I have all the equipment ready for filming this opening sequence. I also have all of my editing gear ready to edit my opening sequence. Deciding on who my actresses should be was a hard process but I was able to complete it. I have confirmed most of my locations and they are expecting me soon....
